Magnetic pulley for conveyor PM

Product description

The magnetic pulleys PM are used for the automatic separation of small and medium-sized iron and steel impurities.
The magnetic tape reels separate the iron pieces at lower fill height on the conveyor belt. If a higher degree of separation is guaranteed, magnetic tape reels should be combined with overbelt magnetic separator. The magnetic field of the magnetic pulley is about 100 mm wide, and it is therefore recommended that fill height on-site conveyor belt does not exceed the height of 80mm. The magnetic tape reels are designed and offered customized to the type of iron impurities and due to the customer's completed magnetic pulleys - drawing dimension. The shafts are made of AISI 304/1.4301 –stainless steel.

Magnetic pulley ist designed for separation of ferromagnetic particles from bulk materials. Magnetic pulley is to be installed into the conveyor belt construction as a replacement of conveyor discharge pulley. Magnetic pulley can be fitted with ferrite magnets or with the stronges neodymium NdFeB magnets. Unlike the magnetic drum separator the inner magnetic cores rotate together with whole pulley construction. All ferromagnetic particles are carried away with conveyor belt and fall off as late as they pass magnetic pulley axis, where to conveyor belt moves away from the pulley. In this part of conveyor belt a discharge chute can be installed so that the metal patricles can easily slide down into collecting container. Dimensions of the magnetic pulley will be adapted to technical specifications and customer requirements.
